i'm back.

last thursday i headed out to the west coast for a quick little vacay. you know it's off to a great start when you arrive near midnight and stop off at the first in-n-out you see. more pics of a fantastic trip to follow!

i would like to spend all summer in one of these with AT and lil' lou camping in the backyard telling ghost stories and eating s'mores.  too bad i can't still fit into my sacagawea halloween costume from when i was 10, which to this day i think is my best halloween costume yet  :(

back a couple weeks ago when my old roommate kate was visiting we hit up FroYo for the first time. this place was great! we served ourselves some frozen yogurt and loaded up the toppings. also, loved the green and orange decor.


i couldn't decide what to get.....so i basically got everything. yes, there is raspberries, chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate sauce, frutti pebbles, blueberries....the list goes on. i have a feeling that this could become a weekly stop over the summer.

new bathroom.

as a renter there are very few things i can do to improve the look of our apartment. i did however get the go ahead from my landlord to paint my bathroom. yipee. i'm trying to go for something a little more grown-up looking. here is my inspiration:

i am painting the walls a gray, all the trim glossy white, new white shower curtain and maybe a fun accent color....red? yellow? suggestions welcome. now i just have to decide between these two paint colors before i hit up home depot this weekend. any opinions?

i hope to get some before and after pictures up here after the project is done...
