my sister and bro-in-law just quit their jobs and are moving to DC in september, but before they do that they are going on a wild west roadtrip and bringing us along through the blogosphere.


also, they are wanting to change the name of their blog and are having a contest. if you think of the winning name, you get a nifty souvenir from their travels.

macaroons.

the new cupcake....macaroons? i've been seeing macaroons all over the blogosphere and have been dying to try some of the vibrant varieties. so i was thrilled when my dear friend kate came into town on thursday baring a gift of these from paulette. they were yummy. especially the passion fruit(orange) and cassis (purple)
