macaroons.

the new cupcake....macaroons? i've been seeing macaroons all over the blogosphere and have been dying to try some of the vibrant varieties. so i was thrilled when my dear friend kate came into town on thursday baring a gift of these from paulette. they were yummy. especially the passion fruit(orange) and cassis (purple)

yep, bought this. now this is one of the problems with compulsively reading blogs all day. you buy end up wanting things that you didn't even know existed, such as this rug from UO for only 40 bones. i suwanee sucked me in today. welp, we needed a big rug to go under my new cart coffee table(pictures to follow) i think this one will be perfect.

congratulations to this guy. A.T. just graduated from SLU with his masters in theology, not to mention he passed his comprehensive exmas with distinction. stud.

yesterday was his last day of teaching for the year. he also threw me a hell of a good surprise birthday dinner. i'm so lucky to have such a fantastic guy. if any one deserves a long relaxing summer, it's this guy.

it's my birthday today. to celebrate i am sporting red lipstick and a dress that is probably normally to short to wear to work. whatever. i'm bossy, it's my birthday.

I scored some tickets to Alive Magazine's spring fashion show a couple weeks ago. I grabbed my girlfriend, Amy and got ready for a great night of people watching. The show was sponsored by Nordstrom and some of the outfits and styling were great, others...not so much. I think Amy and I had more fun looking at all the spectators outfits more than the models!
